7 Seas Casino Review: Social Slots, Virtual Coins & No Real-Money Gambling

7 Seas Casino: Editor's Comment

7 Seas Casino is not a gambling site. It is a social casino game where you play with virtual coins and gems, and the app's own store listing states plainly that it "offers no real money gambling or prizes" (Google Play). That distinction matters, because the experience is closer to a casual mobile game with casino-themed mini-games than to a regulated online casino.

The appeal here is the mix of activities. You can spin slots, play bingo, try roulette or solitaire, and even enter horse racing events, all while travelling to themed destinations and customising an avatar. The developer, FlowPlay, has built a social layer around parties, challenges, and friend interactions. If you enjoy the look and feel of casino games but want to avoid real-money stakes, this is a legitimate option to explore.

What we liked:

• Clear social-gaming framing. The app stores and the developer's site repeatedly state that no real-money gambling is offered, so there is no ambiguity about what you are playing.
• Variety of games. The App Store listing mentions over 27 custom slots plus bingo, roulette, solitaire, and more, giving players plenty to try without spending real money.
• Travel and RPG elements. The virtual world, avatar customisation, and party features add a layer of progression that pure slot apps often lack.
• Free to download and play. You can install the app and play without paying, though optional in-app purchases are available for virtual coins and gems.

One limitation to keep in mind: because this is a social game, there is no RTP in the regulated sense, no real cashouts, and no licensing as a gambling operator. The virtual coins you buy or earn have no monetary value outside the game. If you are looking for real-money slots, you will need a licensed operator instead.

What is 7 Seas Casino?

7 Seas Casino is a free-to-play social casino app developed by FlowPlay, LLC. It is described on Google Play as a "massively multiplayer casino-inspired rpg" where you travel the globe, customise your avatar, and play with friends (Google Play). The App Store listing calls it an "MMO casino RPG" and notes that you can "play all the best free games; choose from over 27 Slots, Bingo, Roulette, Solitaire, and MORE" (App Store).

Unlike a real-money casino, 7 Seas Casino does not offer cash gambling. The developer's website states: "This product does not offer real-money gambling or an opportunity to win real money or real-world prizes" (7seascasino.com). Instead, you play with virtual coins and gems, which can be earned through gameplay or purchased via in-app transactions. The game includes simulated gambling themes, and both app stores rate it for older audiences: Google Play assigns a Teen rating with "Simulated Gambling" and "In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items)", while the App Store lists an 18+ age rating.

The core loop involves spinning slots, completing challenges, and progressing through a travel-themed map. You can visit ports, collect souvenirs, and host parties on a virtual yacht. The social aspect is central: you can interact with other players, join events, and share achievements.

7 Seas Casino At A Glance

The table below summarises key facts about 7 Seas Casino based on official app store listings and the developer's website. It is not a real-money gambling product, so traditional slot metrics like RTP or paylines do not apply in the same way.

Because 7 Seas Casino is a social game, it does not publish RTP percentages or volatility ratings in the way a regulated slot does. The virtual coins you use have no cash value, and any "wins" are simply game progress. The app is intended for entertainment, not income.

7 Seas Casino Slots and Game Selection

The slot selection in 7 Seas Casino is custom-built for the app. The App Store description highlights "over 27 Custom Slots" and mentions "Progressive & Classic Slots" (App Store). These are not the same as real-money slots from providers like NetEnt or Pragmatic Play; they are designed specifically for the social experience, with virtual coin betting and no cash payouts.

Beyond slots, the game offers a range of other casino-style activities. Google Play lists "slots, poker, bingo, horse racing and more" (Google Play). The developer's website also mentions poker, blackjack, roulette, video poker, sports bets, and bingo as available categories (7seascasino.com/fx/new). This variety means you can switch between different game types without leaving the app.

It is important to note that these games are simulated. There is no real-money wagering, and the outcomes are determined by the game's internal logic, not by a regulated random number generator subject to gambling authority oversight. The virtual coins you win or lose are part of the game's economy and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Bonuses and Virtual Currency

7 Seas Casino uses virtual currencies: coins and gems. Coins are the primary currency for playing slots and other games, while gems are often used for premium items or special purchases. You can earn coins and gems through gameplay, daily bonuses, challenges, and events. The App Store listing mentions "Earn Free Charms, Gems & Other Prizes" and "HUGE Coins, Gems and Treasure" (App Store).

Optional in-app purchases allow you to buy additional coins or gems with real money. The App Store lists examples such as "150 Gems for $5.99" and "VIP Season Pass for $19.99" (App Store). These prices are in US dollars and may vary by region. Because these are virtual items, they have no real-world value and cannot be cashed out.

There is no traditional casino bonus with wagering requirements here. The "bonuses" are in-game rewards that help you play more. If you choose to spend money, you are buying virtual currency for entertainment, not making a gambling wager. The developer's terms and privacy policy govern these transactions, and you should review them before purchasing.

How to Get Started with 7 Seas Casino

Getting started is straightforward. The app is free to download from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and you can also play via a web browser on the developer's site. Here is a simple step-by-step guide:

1. Download the app or visit the website. On mobile, search for "7 Seas Casino" on Google Play or the App Store. On desktop, go to 7seascasino.com.
2. Create an account or sign in. You may be able to play as a guest or link an existing account. The sign-in process is typical for social games.
3. Claim your starting coins. New players usually receive a welcome bonus of virtual coins to begin playing.
4. Choose a game. Navigate to the slots, bingo, roulette, or other sections. Each game has its own virtual betting options.
5. Set your bet and spin. Use virtual coins to place bets. Wins add to your coin balance, which you can use to continue playing.
6. Explore and socialise. Travel to different ports, complete challenges, and join parties with other players.

Remember that no real money is won or lost. If you decide to purchase coins or gems, treat it as an entertainment expense, not an investment.

Mobile and User Experience

7 Seas Casino is available on Android and iOS, as well as on desktop browsers. The Google Play listing shows over 100,000 downloads and a 4.4-star rating from 1.73K reviews (Google Play). The App Store listing shows a 4.7-star rating from 996 ratings (App Store). These ratings reflect user satisfaction but are not an endorsement of the game as a gambling product.

User reviews mention both positives and negatives. Some players praise the variety of games and the social features, while others report technical issues such as crashes or sound problems. The developer has released updates to address stability and compatibility, including a note that the app is updating to meet Google Play's requirements for Android 15, which may affect older devices (Google Play).

The app requires iOS 12.0 or later on Apple devices and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Vision. The download size is around 47.4 MB on iOS. On Android, the size may vary. The interface is designed for touchscreens, with clear buttons for spinning, betting, and navigating menus.

Eligibility and Licensing

7 Seas Casino is a social game, not a licensed gambling operator. The developer's website states that the game is "intended for an adult audience (18+ or the legal age in your jurisdiction)" and reiterates that it "does not offer real-money gambling or an opportunity to win real money or real-world prizes" (7seascasino.com). Because no real-money gambling is involved, the app does not require a gambling licence in Ireland or elsewhere.

However, the app stores apply their own age ratings. Google Play rates it as Teen with "Simulated Gambling" and "In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items)", while the App Store gives it an 18+ rating. These ratings are guidelines for parents and users, not legal restrictions. In Ireland, the legal age for gambling is 18, but since this is not gambling, the age rating is primarily about content suitability.

If you are under 18, you should not use the app without parental guidance, especially if in-app purchases are involved. The developer's privacy policy and terms of service govern data collection and usage. Always review these documents before playing.
