What is a wagering requirement?

A wagering requirement (or playthrough) is the number of times you must bet the bonus amount before you can withdraw winnings. For example, a €10 bonus with a 20x requirement means €200 in total bets.

Are no deposit bonuses really free?

They do not require a deposit, but winnings are usually subject to wagering requirements and a maximum cashout limit, so you may only be able to withdraw up to a set amount.

Can I withdraw my deposit straight away if I take a bonus?

Often not. With many deposit match offers, your deposit and the bonus are locked together until the wagering is met. Some casinos let you decline a bonus and play with your deposit only.

Why do some games contribute less to wagering?

Casinos set lower contribution rates for some games, such as table games, so bets on them count only partly towards the target. Check the contribution table in the offer terms.

What happens if I don’t meet the wagering in time?
