Michael Jackson Slot Review 2026: King of Pop by Bally, RTP & Features

Editor's Comment

The Michael Jackson: King of Pop slot is a straightforward 5-reel, 25-payline game that leans heavily on its theme. The appeal here is the music and the iconography (the glove, the fedora, the sunglasses) rather than any complex mechanic. It is not a Megaways game or a cluster-pays experiment. It is a licensed celebrity slot with a fixed payline structure and a set of bonus features. Players who want a simple, recognisable theme with a few bonus features will find it easy to pick up. Those looking for modern mechanic-heavy gameplay should look elsewhere.

What We Liked

• The theme is well executed, with symbols that reference Michael Jackson's most famous looks.
• Five iconic songs are included, with Dirty Diana playing during the base game and others triggered by bonuses.
• The Moonwalk Wilds feature can trigger randomly, with Michael moonwalking across the screen to activate wild symbols.
• The game is playable across desktop and mobile devices.
• The game includes a range of bonus features, including free spins and bonus rounds.

What is the Michael Jackson Slot?

Michael Jackson: King of Pop is a slot from Bally, now part of Light & Wonder. It is a 5-reel, 3-row game with 25 paylines. The game is themed around Michael Jackson's music and visual style, using symbols such as a rhinestone-encrusted white glove, a black fedora hat, aviator sunglasses, and his famous jeweled socks tucked inside black loafers. Lower-paying symbols are the nine, 10, jack, queen, king, and ace, all styled to fit the theme.

It is important to distinguish this online slot from the separate Michael Jackson Icon machine, which is a different product with different features. The King of Pop slot is the version documented for online play, while the Icon machine is a floor-cabinet game with its own bonus wheel and themed free games. This review focuses on the King of Pop slot.
