Coyote Cash Slots Review - Progressive Jackpot, Free Spins & 25 Paylines

Coyote Cash Slot - Editor’s Comment

Coyote Cash is one of those RTG slots that has quietly built a loyal following over the years. It doesn't rely on flashy modern graphics or complex mechanics; instead, it offers a straightforward Wild West theme with a progressive jackpot and a free spins round that can deliver multipliers up to 4x. Reported RTP figures vary by source, so the exact return depends on the version offered at your chosen casino. The game is generally described as high volatility, meaning wins can be less frequent, and the maximum bet may not suit all budgets. Mobile compatibility is also reported inconsistently, so players should check before playing on a phone. Overall, Coyote Cash is a solid choice for fans of classic RTG slots who want a shot at a progressive jackpot.

What is the Coyote Cash Slot?

Coyote Cash is a 5-reel, 25-payline video slot developed by RealTime Gaming (RTG). Chipy lists a release date of June 29, 2013, though other sources may cite different dates, which could reflect different versions or updates. The game is themed around a cartoon coyote in a Wild West setting, with symbols including a coyote, loot, a police officer, a snake, a van, a cactus, and playing card icons. It features a progressive jackpot, wild substitutions, scatter wins, and a free spins bonus round. The game is available at RTG-powered casinos, though availability for Irish players depends on the individual casino's licensing and terms.

The RTP discrepancy is notable: Chipy and CasinosOnline both cite 97.5%, while AskGamblers lists 95%. Players should check the specific version at their chosen casino. The mobile compatibility is also inconsistent, so it's worth verifying before playing on a smartphone or tablet.

Coyote Cash Slot RTP, Payout and Volatility

Coyote Cash has a reported RTP that varies by source, with figures ranging from around 95% to 97.5% depending on the version. RTP is a theoretical long-term average, not a guarantee of session results. The game is generally described as high volatility, meaning wins may be less frequent but potentially larger. The progressive jackpot contributes to the RTP. Maximum win figures are reported inconsistently across sources, so players should check the paytable at their chosen casino. Treat all these figures as theoretical and not as expectations for any single session. Chipy CasinosOnline AskGamblers

How to Play Coyote Cash

Playing Coyote Cash follows the standard RTG slot format. Here are the steps:

1. Set your coin denomination using the Bet arrows. Coin values are typically low, so check the specific range at your casino.
2. Adjust the number of active paylines using the Lines arrows. You can play between 1 and 25 lines.
3. Check the total bet, which is the coin value multiplied by the number of lines. The minimum total bet is typically low, and the maximum depends on the version and casino.
4. Press Spin to start the reels, or use Autoplay for a set number of automatic spins.
5. Wins are paid for matching symbols on active paylines from left to right. The Coyote wild substitutes for all symbols except the Loot scatter and doubles wins when it forms part of a winning combination.

The game also has a progressive jackpot that can be won randomly after a spin.

Coyote Cash Gameplay, Graphics & Sound

The game uses older technology typical of its era, which may affect compatibility on some modern devices. The 5x3 grid layout is standard and easy to read. While the visuals may not match modern video slots, the straightforward presentation appeals to players who prefer classic gameplay without excessive distractions.

Coyote Cash Slot Features

Coyote Cash includes several features that add to the base gameplay. The Coyote symbol acts as a wild, substituting for all other symbols except the scatter and doubling any wins it helps to create. The Loot symbol is the scatter, paying out for two or more anywhere on the reels and triggering the free spins round when three or more appear. The game also has a progressive jackpot that can be awarded randomly after any spin. There is no separate bonus round beyond the free spins and progressive jackpot.

Bonus Features: Wilds, Multipliers, and Free Spins

Wild Symbol

The Coyote wild appears on the reels and substitutes for all symbols except the Loot scatter. When it forms part of a winning combination, it doubles the payout. It is also the highest-paying symbol.

Free Spins

Landing three or more Loot scatter symbols anywhere on the reels triggers the free spins round. Players receive 20 free games. The multiplier applied to wins during the free spins depends on the number of scatters that triggered the feature: 3 scatters give a 2x multiplier, 4 scatters give 3x, and 5 scatters give 4x. Additional free spins can be awarded during the feature, played at the initial multiplier.

Progressive Jackpot

Coyote Cash features a progressive jackpot that can be won randomly at the conclusion of a spin. The jackpot amount is added to any other wins from that spin.

Other Coyote Cash Features

Beyond the wild, scatter, free spins and progressive jackpot, Coyote Cash does not have additional features such as gamble rounds or pick-me bonuses. The game also offers an autoplay option for continuous spinning. The scatter symbol pays out for multiple appearances, with values shown in the paytable.

Where to Play Coyote Cash

Coyote Cash is available at casinos that use RealTime Gaming software. Some sources list specific casinos, but availability can vary by jurisdiction and licensing. Irish players should check whether a casino accepts players from Ireland and what the terms are. The game may be available in demo mode at some sites for free play. For real-money play, ensure the casino is properly licensed and regulated in a jurisdiction that permits Irish players. We do not recommend specific casinos here, but you can browse our Irish casino reviews for options.
